UNDEFEATED Bring Back Signature Tiger Camo on Two Converse Chuck 70 Mid ColabsRelease: 14 October 2021
Besides its signature 'Five Strike' graphic, one of UNDEFEATED's most recognizable motifs is its tiger camo pattern. Equal parts animalistic and materialistic, the brand's tiger camo has covered shirts, hoodies, jackets and – of course – shoes, like a 2017 Prophere collaboration with adidas Consortium. Now, UNDEFEATED have called upon tiger camo once again, bringing it out of the vault for a new Chuck 70 Mid collaboration with Converse.
Essentially a chopped-down version of the standard Chuck 70, the Chuck 70 Mid offers up a chukka-like look that here is dressed in two different tiger camo tones: a dusty mixture of tans and browns and a more oceanic blend of blue-green, brown and tan. Each pair adds special UNDEFEATED branding via the rubberized 'Five Strike' on its midsole and a fabric patch towards its lateral heel. Both also use a high-gloss egret tone on midsoles/toe caps and retain a signature star logo on the medial collar. This marks UNDEFEATED's second go-around with Converse in 2021 as well: the two teamed up in February for a Chuck 70 'FUNDAMENTALS' pack.
Look for the UNDEFEATED x Converse Chuck 70 Mid collection to release in a staggered fashion, arriving at the UNDEFEATED webstore October 14 before seeing a global Converse drop on October 21.
