Ubiquity Squared: Levis x Jordan
We have to admit, the prospect of a stonewashed reversible denim jacket doesn’t fill us with visions of cutting-edge cool. Rather, our imagination starts down a rabbit hold of zip-off trousers and orthopaedic sandals. But oh, how wrong we are.
The new Levis x Jordan colab has done the unimaginable and crafted a pretty damn decent-looking version of said jacket, but of course, the real clincher for us is the indigo infused Air Jordan 4.
The shoe has been crafted using everybody’s favourite yarn-dyed, warp-faced, 3/1 twill fabric – denim! In keeping with the motif, the upper has been stitched with golden brown thread while the labels have been printed on the very same washable card you’ll find on the waist of your 501s. Levis’ signature red tab has been added to the side in a subtle display of co-branded unity, while the gum-accented sole adds the finishing touch to a work-wear styled sneaker of the highest grade.
The Levis x Air Jordan 4 will be available from January 17 at select stores, check the full stockist list over on NDC.
