Tyler, The Creator Reboots Converse Classics With '1908 Program'

On your typical list of things that go hand-in-hand, you've got peanut butter and jelly, pints and pub gardens, and of course – most fittingly – and . The pairing started nearly a decade ago and has since grown into a partnership that keeps delivering instant sell-outs, time and time again. Now the Boston brand have tapped the multi-hyphenate muso once again, this time as part of its new ‘1908 Program’.
Designed to shine a light onto innovative collaborators and breathe new life into archival design, the project is launching with the 34-year-old creative at the helm, bringing Tyler's signature offbeat flair to a fresh wave of long-forgotten revivals including the Naut-1 and Coach Jogger.
Back from the archives, both styles return with distinct nods to their OG forms. The Naut-1 lands in four colourways, with a look that leans into mid-century boat shoe styling, sitting somewhere between dock-ready and skate-adjacent. While the schnauzer print easily takes best in show, the Coach Jogger (first introduced for the 1976 Olympics) keeps things grounded with a nylon base, T-toe overlay and stripped-back shape. Options include a soft baby blue and coffee shade, as well as a deep forest green.
The Tyler, The Creator x Converse Naut-1 and Coach Jogger will be available in a limited global release on June 20. Beginning June 12, the two pairs will also be available for purchase exclusively at the 1908 pop-up in Los Angeles.
