Jordan Brand and Union LA look to be following up on their united release of the Air Jordan 1 'Gold Top 3' at ComplexCon 2017 with an official collaboration. Images of two different Air Jordan 1 samples, purported to be collaborations with the LA-based streetwear boutique, have just leaked on Instagram.
Similar in concept to the AJ1 'Top 3', the two designs appear to mash together classic Air Jordan 1 colourways, including the 'Bred', 'Storm Blue' and 'Black Toe' make-ups. However, these new designs take the mash-up concept one step further than the 'Top 3', as they appear to literally chop the tongue in two, with heavy stitching fusing the different colourways.
Both designs come tagged with Union LA branding below the Wings logos and look to have received a subtle 'vintage' treatment. The shoes have been snapped atop special Jordan Brand boxes that combine classic Air Jordan advertising from over the years.
Union are yet to confirm these Air Jordan 1 collaborations, but we sure hope they are real! We'll keep you updated.
