Who said was done with the ? Well, whoever mentioned that the rapper was finished with first signature silhouette was dead wrong, as there’s another collaborative La Flame AJ1 Low that’s been slated for release in 2025, and it seems his fans are still pretty excited over Cactus Jack’s Swoosh endeavours, no matter how many he releases. The new colourway has been dubbed ‘Velvet Brown’ and is set to boast the rapper’s signature tones. There’s no imagery of the actual shoe just yet, but a mockup has been created.

The original news was reported through @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles, who have stated that this iteration will land mid next year. The colourway has been allegedly made up using ‘Dark Mocha’, ‘Black’ and ‘Velvet Brown’. According to the speculative mockup pictured, the base layer has been laid down in black, matching the midsole, while the overlays are crafted with a lighter-toned brown, complemented by the heavy-hued Swoosh. All the usual Cactus Jack branding is present, including reverse Swoosh, tongue tag and rear heel embroidered logo. As the colourway is yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand and there’s been no leaked imagery, the colourblocking may change on the official pair.

Travis Scott’s love affair with the in both Low and High form has been long. One of his earliest Swoosh linkups was the infamous brown Air Jordan 1, which was followed by a plethora of AJ1 Lows, including a collaboration with . There’s also been an array of samples that have never released, the and , the latter is slated to arrive later this month. The ‘Velvet Brown’ isn’t the only AJ1 Low on the horizon either, as another variation will also release in 2025, but before that is the that’s expected towards the tail end of 2024.

Jordan Brand are yet to officially confirm the existence of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Velvet Brown’, but a style code exists (DM7866-202) and that’s a good sign. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker to keep updated.
