Todd Snyder Visits the Farmers Market with New Balance 327 Collaboration
Eponymous menswear label continue a dream run with , this time on a trio of inspired by the farmers markets of their New York City home base.
‘We concepted [sic] the Farmers Market capsule during lockdown, so the design team and I were reminiscing about (and looking forward to) the experience of walking around a farmers market on a hot summer day,’ said Snyder.
The NB 327s have been rendered in tasty tones of ‘Pineapple’, ‘Pomegranate’ and ‘Wheat’, each comprised of supple suede and breezy mesh that’s been arranged on opposing sides. Each of the pairs’ inspirations are portrayed on the woven tongue labels. In typical Todd Snyder fashion, these NBs use premium leathers and fabrics that are a notch above general releases – a fact that has been demonstrated time and time again with his previous collaborations.
In addition to the sneaker release, matching seersucker jackets will be available. Furthermore, Todd Snyder New York will donate $10,000 to GrowNYC, an organisation that supports New York City’s greenmarkets by ensuring its residents have access to fresh and healthy produce. Well done team!
The Todd Snyder x New Balance 327 will release on July 29 at 11AM Eastern Time, followed by a wider global release on August 12.
