Todd Snyder, the founder and designer of his eponymous brand, is on a bit of a hot streak in the sneaker space right now. Off the back of his recent Converse and New Balance efforts, he now has teamed up with small label Victory Sportswear for a trio of American-made sneakers.

Victory Sportswear has a small but loyal following as one of the last brands making sneakers entirely in the US. Stephen Keoseian – who bought the brand in 2007 and relocated it to his home of Fitchburg, Massachusetts – and his father make each pair by hand. Classic combinations of suede and mesh drape their tight catalogue of only two styles, and they’re made to last because they can be resoled.

For Snyder, who has a track record of honouring American classics, it’s a symbiotic union and apt selection of a quality product. He opens up Victory’s palette a bit more with smart shades of tonal ‘Dark Grey’, ‘Navy’ and ‘Moss’ across three all-suede editions. They’re finished with veg tan leather accents and gum outsoles, plus co-branded stamping. Very clean.

The Todd Snyder x Victory Sportswear collaboration will be available exclusively from Todd Snyder’s web store on February 8.
