This Nike Air Max 90 is Inspired by Fried Chicken from Japanese Mini Marts
Delivering a fusion of Japanese mini mart favourites and Air Max classics, upcoming ‘Swoosh Mart’ pack includes an and an . Now, the main course has been served in the form of another , this time inspired by fried chicken.
Arriving fresh out of the fryer, the mouth-watering colourway pays homage to the Japanese fried chicken known as ‘karaage’, which is normally housed in a well-lit glass display near the front counter of the mini marts. The sneaker tribute is constructed with leather, while the upper alternates between crispy white and golden stripes, mimicking the familiar bags the chicken comes packaged in. Red and yellow accents add some extra spice to the mix, while tear-away uppers reveal a crispy pattern underneath. Housed inside are graphic-printed tongs on the insoles.
