This Nike Air Force 1 Crater Is Super CleanRelease: TBC
The Crater scheme has been hitting Nike silhouettes for a while now, but this latest rendition of the Air Force 1 is arguably the cleanest we’ve seen so far. Among some of the better colourways we’ve seen in recent times have been the ‘Light Lemon Twist’, black with a multi-coloured speckle, and a Flyknit version for the kids.
A flagship of Nike’s ongoing ‘Move to Zero’ mission – a journey towards zero carbon and zero waste – Crater foam was also a key feature of the four-sneaker Space Hippie collection that launched last year. And its signature speckled aesthetic hits the sole unit of this Air Force 1 Crater. Apart from that, and the almost zebra-like stripes on the side Swooshes, this colourway is white and creamy for a very clean finish.
With a build that consists of at least 20 per cent (by weight) of recycled materials, this Air Force 1 Crater also wears the ‘Move to Zero’ logo on the heel tabs and on the insoles to confirm its sustainability credentials.
Pairs of this super clean Air Force 1 Crater are expected to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists very soon. Will you add them to your Uptown rotation?
