have done it again, and kept the sneaker nerds happy: they’ve used an early-90s shoebox to inspire a new colourway of the .

The interpretation is quite obvious, as the execution is that of an upside-down box. The upper is striped in two shades of grey, and the sole is rich red, like the lids of that era. The pull-tabs even feature barcode-esque detailing and, best of all, the left and right shoes have their stripes mirrored. Very satisfying.
