This Air Max 1 is a Poor Man's Hender Scheme
Can't afford a pair of Hender Scheme? NikeLAB have your back.
Their new Air Max 1 Pinnacle could just about pass for a piece of artisanal Japanese craftsmanship, save for the visible Air unit below the heel – not that that's a downside, though.
The upper has been cut from naturally tanned leather of varied finishes, which provides subtle tonal and textural differences across the topside. However, the main question that surrounds natural leather is: how well will it age? Generally the more you beat it up the better, so you’ll just have to pick a pair up and see.
The NikeLAB Air Max 1 Pinnacle ‘Sand’ is available now from select stockists, including online from atmos.
