This adidas Forum Gets Inspired by Chinese Printing
The lead up to Chinese New Year always sees brands within the sneaker space come through with commemorative creps, and are seriously pushing the boundaries this year. A few weeks back, we got a look at their , which was inspired by the traditional Lion Dance, now they’ve just debuted a dubbed the ‘Communicator’, taking inspiration from the Chinese invention of printing.
Looking at the build, The Three Stripes have opted for a mix of suede, canvas and leathers, composed in white with loud pops of red highlighting the key features. The highlight of the model would have to be the removable parts, which give the wearer the ability customise a one-of-one look. This creative inclusion represents the printing process invented many years ago by the Chinese.
