The Vivienne Westwood x ASICS GEL-Kayano 26 Features Fishnet
Fashion queen is back with another colab! This time it’s on the modern GEL-Kayano 26, but instead of reusing the vivid motifs and colours used on her , this edition is blacked-out with some quirky additions.
There’s a fishnet-like shroud covering the uppers that can be cinched with an elastic pull, which also appears to double as a fastening system as there are no laces to be seen. Beneath the shroud there are ergonomic ASICS design cues like the massive heel counter, GEL cushioning tech, and FlyteFoam midsole. Can’t say there are any other tech runners with Vivienne’s logo stamped on the heel…
