Nike have been tricking and treating sneakerheads with annual Halloween releases for well over a decade now, yet their 2020 range ups the alarming ante even further with a classic Air Max 90 and Air Max 97. There are no cheesy vampires or collapsed pumpkins here – just killer kicks that are straight spooky!

The Air Max 90 conjures things that go bump in the night, hiding a tangle of spiderweb graphics throughout its blacked-out suede and mesh upper. When the lights go out… oh, you know Nike have sprinkled some glow-in-the-dark powder all over. Those once-hidden webs light up in phosphorescent green, plus the Air unit and waffle outsole also get a glow-up. Frighteningly fresh!

If the AM90’s scare factor is too subtle, try the slimed-out Air Max 97 on for size. Oozing all sorts of radioactive GITD green through the upper strips and outsole, it has mutated the mudguard into fuzzy purple suede against the blacked-out top section.
