There are few sneakers that truly capture the zeitgeist of 1990s hoops like Shawn Kemp’s Reebok Kamikaze II. Emblazoned with a gaudy, retina-tearing zig-zag pattern, the Kamikaze II was laced by the Reign Man during the Seattle Supersonics 1995-96 NBA season, Kemp having arguably his most dominant season yet.

One of the most cantankerous dunkers in the league’s history, the Kamikaze II is still the perfect in-your-face sneaker for an uncompromising game.

The latest Reebok Kamikaze II to arrive pays homage to the 1996 NBA All-Star Game in San Antonio. Manufactured in a mix of suede and leather materials, the sneaker is composed in a colourful palette of orange, pink and teal accents (emblematic of the Spurs heritage uniforms).

Look for the Reebok Kamikaze II to land over the coming weeks. The retail price is locked at $120.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our interview with interstellar Bok collaborators, Brain Dead.
