The Reebok Club C Laceless Mule is Hands-Free CompatibleRelease: 24 June 2021
The Reebok Club C is the latest classic sneaker to rejoin the mule-ment that’s carved out a growing niche in the footwear industry. Those a few years ahead of the curve will undoubtedly feel vindicated by the fact that mules are now in vogue after Reebok had already tried mule-ing the Club C back in 2018 to lukewarm reception. Furthermore, real OGs can finally pull out their Classic Leather Mules that date back to 1999. Regardless of the history, Reebok again have their finger on the pulse, and a new round of what’s now known as the Club C Laceless Mule is available for immediate use.
This modification appears much more straightforward than the Club C Mid. After all, creative types have long stepped on the heels of their sneakers to insta-mule them. Some even surgically remove the heel counters with an X-ACTO for a permanent modification. However, Reebok do all the work with the new Club C Laceless Mule, and cleanly cut the ankles out. The insides are still lined with the same terry towelling that is known and loved. And, as the name suggests, these mules don’t need knotting, because there are no laces at all. Just slip them on and go.
The Club C Laceless Mule is available now directly from Reebok.
