This Reebok Classic Leather Loves to Wake ’n’ Bake
The unofficial holiday for all stoners is coming up quick, and sneaker brands around the globe are chiming in with their Kush-inspired creps. So far, have come through with a , creating a inspired by the marijuana-smoking towel character named ‘Towelie’. Team Swoosh also wanted to get in on the action with the smoking on some ‘Maui Wowie’. Next up is Reebok, and they’re showing us that the favourite thing to do in the morning is to ‘Wake ’n’ Bake’.
According to Reebok, this Classic Leather is ‘All about the high’ and is ‘Inspired by mornings when you light up with the sunrise and get red-eyed’. Trying to break the stereotype of cannabis users being hippie stoners, this release wants us to focus more on the wellness and health benefits of using the herb.
Hit with a full-leather upper, this CL has been blessed with a stark white base that is elevated by a yellow and orange gradient pattern wrapped around the whole top half to represents a sunrise. Elsewhere, green suede hits have been plastered along the sides as an obvious nod to ganja. Stoned, half-open eyeballs can also be seen along the tongue and lateral side, close to the Reebok scripted logo. Added flavour comes through in the form of ‘Good Morning’ embroidered along the heel. Completing the look is the ‘Limited Edition’ mark along the side heel, and the clean white midsole plus gum outsole combo.
