The Nike Zoom Freak 2 Looks Towards the Future
The continues to look towards the future, with this upcoming colourway set to stun in a vibrant combo of purple and green. Dubbed ‘Play For The Future’, the design takes a purple base and adds touches of green, while also putting speckled finishes on the outsole, side Swooshes, tongue branding, and laces. It’s a busy build, but seems to work.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s second signature shoe, the Zoom Freak 2 has been tailored to make his unstoppable on-court moves even more effective. As Nike described when the Freak 2 first hit the scene in the middle of last year, ‘Proportionately, Antetokounmpo is a unicorn, possessing the ability to control the ball like a guard and yet bruise his way into the lane with the physicality of a centre. The combination of those two skill sets help make his secret sauce for the Eurostep, one of the most unbeatable moves in his arsenal.’ With that versatility in mind, the Freak 2 aims to harness power and generate force when its wearer hits the hardwood.
Pairs of this vibrant Nike Zoom Freak 2 are expected to land in Asia on February 6, followed by a Stateside release soon after.
