The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Laser Blue’ is Finally ReleasingRelease: 11 September 2021
It feels like months since the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Laser Blue’ was first sighted. The complement to the ‘Infrared’ edition that released last year seemed inevitable, as the 30th anniversary milestone of the Air Max 90 saw its OG colours used across other popular Nike styles. Now, the ‘Laser Blue’ is finally releasing this weekend at select retailers.
A retro runner may have inspired this colourway, but the SB Dunk is still a skate shoe. Which means sturdy leather uppers are used across most of the upper, save for the mesh fabric inserted into the toe box and ankle collar – a detail that was also used on the ‘Infrared’. Cool ‘Laser Blue’ subs in behind the tongue, insole, heel tab, and outsoles. For additional textural depth, suede Swooshes show up in grey, replicating the same finish as its AM90 reference.
Elsewhere, find the usual tech enhancements to the SB Dunk that differentiates it from the retro editions. Grippy outsole tread, Zoom Air insoles, padded tongues, and double-layered front eyelets are just some of the deck-friendly features here.
The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Laser Blue’ will release on September 11 at select retailers. Most stores will be organising raffles ahead of the drop, such as END.
