The Nike LeBron 18 Flexes Its LA CredentialsRelease: 6 November 2020
Official images of an early colourway on the Nike LeBron 18 have emerged, giving fans of The King a good opportunity to celebrate the NBA championship recently secured by the LA Lakers. The Larry O’Brien Trophy hasn’t even had time to start collecting dust in a cabinet at Lakers HQ, but Nike are already paying homage to the City of Angels with a scheme dubbed ‘Los Angeles By Day’.
The colourway features a sandy Knitposite 2.0 upper, before blue with hits of pink land on the heel unit. It’s a light and breezy aesthetic for the latest instalment of the LeBron James signature line, a model that combines both Zoom Air and Max Air to deliver a shoe that neatly blends speed and power into one dynamic on-court flex. The LeBron 18 also boasts multiple references to previous LeBron editions, all of which you can see on the visual break down of the new model here.
This rendition is one of four debut colourways for the new silhouette, with the ‘Emperor Jade’ already landing in China, the ‘Multicolour’ releasing back on October 9, and a ‘Reflections’ scheme that’s expected to land in the coming months.
The Nike LeBron 18 ‘Los Angeles By Day’ colourway is set to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists on November 6.
