Nike’s tech first made waves at the start of this year as Team Swoosh’s answer to the hands-free sneaker. Using cutting-edge design, they’ve created an easy-on, easy-off option that caters to serious athletes. Now, the next evolution has arrived, and the Nike Glide FlyEase Premium uses 20 per cent recycled materials by weight, while the midsole has been created using ZoomX foam to maximise response and comfort. The ultra-breathable upper has also been made using recycled materials that have been taken from factory floor waste.
The tech and sustainability aspect is there, but so is the design and colourway. The upper has been placed in a deep ‘Blue Void’ hue, and contrast white branding hits have been placed on the toe box and lateral side, with a red cage that wraps the rear. The white midsole is chunky, and rocks Nike’s signature sustainable coloured speckles.
