The Nike Cortez Travels Back to Los Angeles
Release: 1 April 2019

There are not many sneakers that can rival the cultural flex of the Cortez. The sneaker is inextricably tied to the streets and beaches of Los Angeles. Originally dropping back in 1972, the Nike Cortez continues to be one of the most popular, versatile builds in the sneakersphere.

As a result of that geographical connection, Nike are paying their respects to the kind of geographical links that helped catapult the silhouette, with black and blue Cortez renditions highlighted by some cursive on the heel reminiscent of the City of Angels.

Both pairs are expected to drop at Nike retailers on April 1.
