Originally hitting the hardwood in 1973, the Nike Blazer Mid continues to flex its muscle as one of the best canvases for collaborators across the globe.

Recently tapped by ultra-hyped labels like Cactus Plant Flea Market, Off-White and sacai, the Blazer Mid has also been given plenty of love from Nike’s in-house design team, the silhouette helping the Swoosh celebrate Dia de Muertos this month.

We’ve now got a closer look at the Shanghai Pack, with a double-Swoosh design reminiscent of Chitose Abe’s sacai Swoosh duplicates.

Paying homage to China’s largest city, the Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 ‘Shanghai’ is one of the more creative in-house colourways of late. The leather and suede construction is stamped with “沪,” which translates to ‘Shanghai, China’. On the sole, we also have the coordinates that relate to the Shanghai People’s Government building.

Look for the Nike Blazer Mid '77 'Shanghai Pack' to land sometimes before 2021.
