Originally released in 1992, the Nike Air Raid was recently resurrected thanks in large part to Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God remaster back in 2019. Now, Nike are revisiting a classic colourway from 2014, everyone’s favourite black and red rendition scheduled to land next year.

Remaining true to the original, the latest Nike Air Raid is built with black suede and leather overlays, the speckled soles and red stitching along the idiosyncratic straps giving the sneaker further depth.

Jerry’s most loved sneaker outside of the Jordan Brand, the Air Raid was initially designed for outdoor basketball by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield. Emblazoned with ‘For Outdoor Use Only’ on the heel and outsole, the Air Raid most notably features two criss-crossing straps across the uppers.

The colourway was retroed for the first time in 2013.

Look for the Nike Air Raid to land in early 2021. The retail price is set at $140.
