The Nike Air More Uptempo Punches with Red, Black and Blue
Release: TBC

The Nike Air More Uptempo is squaring up to punch in red, black and blue, this GS release expanding on the retro baller’s aggressive aesthetic. Starting with a strong black base, this colourway hits the famous lateral lettering with alternating touches of red and blue, with the blue letters also rocking a white outline.

An undisputed icon of the 1990s, the Air More Uptempo was forced to fight for supremacy with other heavyweight ballers from its era like the Air Jordan 11, Penny Hardaway’s Air Penny, and Gary Payton’s Zoom Flight 95. Despite that stiff competition, it managed to forge its own path, extending the larger-than-life design language of the decade, and elevating Nike’s storytelling to new heights. Maximalist, brash and badass, the Air More Uptempo was deemed by one Sneaker Freaker writer to be the real MVP. Just like its marquee athlete, Scottie Pippen, this silhouette is a superstar in its own right, and still resonates with the current sneaker scene.

This red, black and blue Air More Uptempo GS is expected to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists very soon.
