The Nike  Air Max Plus looks crisp in crimson, recently emerging in official pics of a colourway that packs in all the usual Tuned Air goodness. ‘Bright Crimson’ appears right across the upper and inside the visible Air units, while black also plays an important part by delivering strong contrast to the brighter hue. Elsewhere, minor touches of purple, orange Swooshes, and white laces complete the aesthetic.

The Air Max Plus first appeared on the scene in 1998, and was the ground-breaking creation of industry veteran Sean McDowell. The hypnotic upper takes design cues from Florida’s swaying palm trees and vibrant evening skies. The distinctive OG colourway’s dusk-inspired blue fade and moulded palm trunk–like overlays sparked a notoriety within the sneakersphere that still  resonates  to this day.

Exact release details for the Nike Air Max Plus ‘Bright Crimson’ are still hush hush at this stage, but we’ll keep you updated if any more info is announced. The arrival of official images generally means the drop isn’t too far away, so keep a close eye on Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
