McDowell’s serene vision of Florida’s beaches was interpreted in Australia as a perfect spray-paint fade, with strange, alien-like ribs. Fiercely resonating with a collection of burgeoning sub-cultures, the TN shifted from its performance origins to become one of the most notorious members of the Air Max dynasty.
