The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Olympic Pack’ Rides the Chariot of Fire
are dropping a five-pack of the , rendered tonally in each colour of the Olympic rings. Taking the speeding bullet train–inspired design of the AM97 to the next level, the Swoosh have also marked the special occasion by building the iconic silhouette in a mixture of suede and mesh instead of synthetic.
Blue, yellow, black, green and red are the colours of the AM97s in this pack – it’s impossible to choose just one. Nike will only go for gold here, so the embroidered arch Swooshes are gilt to match the fine threaded Air Max–branded heel pull tabs. Amongst the tonal finish to the upper, reflective strips maintain the OG build, before making way for Olympic colour stripes on the tongue pull tab. Elsewhere, crisp white midsoles and black outsoles provide clean contrast.
