The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Nintendo 64’ is Here to Play

Nostalgia for 1990s gaming continues to inform the sneaker zeitgeist in 2019, the latest   dressed in the iconic N64 colour palette.

Constructed with light grey mesh uppers, the Nike Air Max 97 ‘Nintendo 64’ is hit with leather overlays reminiscent of the legendary three-pronged controller that changed console gaming forever. Other Easter eggs include ‘Power’ and ‘Reset’ text on the respective tongues, and a graphic on the insole paying homage to the OG ESRB rating found on game N64 game packaging.

The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Nintendo 64’ is slated to hit shelves on September 25 for $170.
