The Nike Air Max 95 Bares Its ClawsRelease: TBC
The Nike Air Max 95 is set to bare its claws, emerging in a colourway that could very well send fans of the Michigan Wolverines into a feeding frenzy. Dressed in navy, white, grey and gold, this colourway makes full use of the AM95’s instantly recognisable layered upper.
Speaking of those layered uppers, the Air Max 95’s origin story goes that on a rainy day in Beaverton, Nike designer Sergio Lozano was staring out of his office window. He imagined the water eroding the landscape to unearth the strata below. That concept of previously hidden layers resonated once more when he later considered the anatomy of a foot – similarly layered with muscle fibres and flesh under the surface of the skin. Taking that inspiration, the gradient panels on the upper of the Air Max 95 make a little more sense.
Pairs of this Air Max 95 are expected to land soon, so keep your eye on Nike and selected Swoosh retailers.
