The Nike Air Huarache Pulls Up in a Pumpkin PairRelease: TBC
The Nike Air Huarache is preparing to pull up in a pumpkin-hued pair, providing the perfect unofficial Halloween flex for next month. Featuring a neat combo of black, white, and burnt orange, it’s quite bold scheme on the silhouette that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
As we know, Nike love a birthday year for their key models, and 2021 has been quite the party for the Huarache. Key highlights among ever-growing Huarache range have included the tonal tango, elusive ‘Escape’, loud ‘Scream Green’, and legendary ‘Triple Black’.
A solid case study in Tinker Hatfield’s renowned ‘less is more’ design language, the Air Huarache concept was conceived when the well-known Nike designer was slipping his feet in and out of the neoprene booties found in water skiing boots. That techno-minimalism is on full display with nylon toe boxes, rubber heel cages, and leather overlays. Down below, cushy EVA foam midsoles with Air technology provide a super smooth ride.
Pairs of this pumpkin-hued Huarache are expected to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists very soon.
