The  Nike  Air Force 1 looks set to stitch up a neat ‘Game Royal’ rendition, highlighting the template that has made the Uptown such a beloved silhouette for many years. The mostly white build adds ‘Game Royal’ to the outsole, inner and branding, before also using it on the stitching that keeps those iconic panels together – including the all-important side Swooshes. It’s a concept that we’ve seen used before with great success, including on recent releases like the black and white combo from late last year, and a primo ‘Pine Green’ scheme.

The Air Force 1 first hit the sneaker scene way back in 1982 when it was strictly an on-court baller. Following its gradual evolution to becoming a bona fide lifestyle presence, the AF-1 remains a prominent part of the sneaker zeitgeist almost 40 after its debut release. The Bruce Kilgore design now attracts a level of reverence that is the envy of many, and frequently delivers both collaborative and GR heat for your feet.

Concrete release details for this ‘Game Royal’ colourway on the Air Force 1 remain hush hush, but pairs are expected to land soon. Keep your eyes on Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
