In 2019, we saw Nike flip the idea of design 'completion' on its head through the use of 'schematic' themed releases. Beginning with an Air Max 1, Tinker Hatfield's raw OG sketch of the history-changing silhouette became the design motif for an 'unfinished' approach a legendary Swoosh silhouette. Following the success of that release, Nike applied the same deconstructed approach to another AM1, and then the React Element 55.
The latest silhouette to receive this blueprint-style treatment is the globally-cherished Nike Air Force 1 Low. This rendition of the Uptown arrives two different colourways – 'Summit White' and 'Laser Orange' – with each of its panels being separated into what you'd imagine finding halfway down the line at the Nike factory. Numbers 1 through 9 have been printed on in proper factory-construction fashion, with penned out lines purposely made to appear as if they've been drawn on by hand.
The Nike Air Force 1 'Schematic' is set to drop at Nike in the coming weeks, so make sure you're ready to cop as soon as they drop.
