Like all of those releases, the crowning glory of this AF-1 is the embroidered image of its plant inspiration on the tongue, while pomegranate also gets a mention on the heel branding.
The upper mixes leather with canvas to further highlight the contrast between black and tan, while white hits the midsoles and laces. Down below, a cork aesthetic takes care of the outsoles, a look that’s matched on the heel stripes and lace dubraes.
The Air Force 1’s evolution from 1980s baller to timeless lifestyle model has allowed it to maintain a key presence in today’s sneaker zeitgeist.
