The Nike Air Force 1 Craft Brings the Beetroot
The is preparing to bring the beetroot, after official images emerged of a rendition highlighted by the deep vegetable hue. The bulk of the design actually dresses in ‘Sail’, leaving the ‘Dark Beetroot’ touches to hit the side Swooshes, heel tabs, and outsoles for that strong two-tone finish.
The Air Force 1 Craft is a relatively new addition to the Swoosh stable, offering some subtle amendments to the legendary Bruce Kilgore design. And the little differences make a big impact here, especially the panel shapes and proportions. You might also notice there’s a gentler transition from heel to toe height, and the Swoosh placement has adjusted ever so slightly.
While some of those design changes could be missed at first glance, the premium materials deserve your full attention. Plus Nike have left some of the more traditional elements as they normally appear on the seemingly timeless AF-1 – including Air-equipped sole units, metal lace dubraes, and woven tongue labels.
