The Nike Air Force 1 Brings the Bling

Official images have emerged of a  Nike  Air Force 1 that’s really bringing the bling, rocking multiple adornments on its lacing system. Each jewel in the metaphorical crown features Swoosh branding, presumably with options to mix and match on each shoe.

But these shiny additions are not the only noteworthy feature of this Uptown, with the ‘Summit White’ and ‘Sea Glass’ colour scheme also boasting some other interesting details. Chief among them are the elephant leather Swooshes and heel tabs, while the exposed foam tongues are also worth a closer look.

When it debuted on the hardwood in 1982, the Air Force 1 was the first Nike basketball shoe to incorporate ‘Air’ cushioning. From those performance origins, the AF-1 slowly morphed into a lifestyle category, and is now a key member of 2021’s sneaker zeitgeist thanks to its truly timeless aesthetic.
