The Nike  Air Foamposite One is preparing to get its glow on, with official images emerging of a bold rendition that was initially set to be part of Indiana’s All-Star Weekend celebrations. The upper of this distinctive baller dresses in all black, with very slight touches of white offering a little contrast. Down below, a glow-in-the-dark outsole offers a neat point of difference.

And while Indiana’s turn at hosting the NBA All-Star Weekend has now been pushed back to 2024, and this year’s game will now be played in Atlanta, the original host city appears on the holographic heel branding.

Nike’s Foamposite technology first arrived on the scene in 1997 via two models: the Air Foamposite One and Air Foamposite Pro. Orlando Magic superstar Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway debuted the One in its only OG colourway, sporting pairs with his signature 1CENT logo. Meanwhile, the Pro would go on to become the more understated model of the two, despite sporting a jewel Swoosh on the side.

Pairs of this Nike Air Foamposite One ‘All-Star 2021’ rendition are expected to release on April 30 at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
