The Nike ACG Air Nasu Pays Homage to a 90s Classic
have just unveiled a killer new off-road inspired silhouette, known as the Air Nasu. Deriving its name from the mountainous Japanese region, there are plenty of hiking and trail design cues from the ACG back catalogue.
Seasoned trainerspotters may recognise criss-crossed midfoot overlays and rubberised mudguard reminiscent of the late-90s , which the Air Nasu tributes here. However, it’s all reproduced with seamless welded uppers for water resistance and light weight. Below, the sole unit is sculpted and sleek, lifting elements from another ACG contemporary: the Zoom Terra Zaherra.
Expect to see the Nike ACG Air Nasu at select retailers from August 8.
