The New CX Collection Reaffirms Converse's All Star Status
The has been at the for over 100 years, but aren’t afraid to tweak a winning formula. The latest incarnation of the iconic Chuck – the FA20 Converse CX collection – champions game-changing tech and innovative materials, taking things to new levels of comfort and steez.
Despite oozing classic Converse DNA, each CX creation has been revamped with upgrades to three core elements: enhanced Stretch Canvas for extra cushiness and easy on-and-off wear, a CX foam midsole for added impact absorption, and a more flexible outsole designed to complement the aforementioned CX foam.
For the first time in the CX line, Converse are making use of vibrant seasonal colours. This latest Chuck Taylor All Star CX exemplifies just that, arriving in a Knicks-esque blue and orange scheme. A navy upper joins a lighter blue sole unit, while the fiery orange outsole and heel stamp add the hot punch.
Additionally, the Converse All Star Disrupt CX in off-white is a deconstructed delight, taking all the innovations even further via a re-engineered outsole with a three-dimensional CX foam bumper on the heel.
