The New Balance 850 Sees Bodega ReleaseRelease: 17 August 2019
We first saw the New Balance 850’s return earlier this year thanks to the efforts of Aimé Leon Dore. Initially a fairly limited release, those who missed out will soon have a second shot thanks to Bodega.
Seen above in a suit-and-sneakers pairing, Bodega highlight the 90s aesthetic of the 850’s design. One of the first New Balance sneakers to remove the N logo, the result is a complex, multilayered upper utilising mesh, leather and webbing. It was designed by Stephanie Howard – the youngest designer at New Balance at the time.
