First debuted by Joe Freshgoods with his ‘When Things Were Pure’ pack, the New Balance 1000 is now hitting the shelves in GR iterations. Up first for this 1999 model is a shiny ‘Silver Metallic’ that’ll have you singing ‘If only I had a heart’.

The pair starts off with a black mesh base that is then covered in the NB1000’s signature curvy overlays. A creamy white midsole adds some contrast, along with a border around the black N logo in the same colour. A black sock liner and stark white laces tie it altogether. The tech might not be up to today’s running standards, but the ABZORB cushioning and Dual-density C-Cap midsoles will still keep you comfortable for your everyday needs.

The NB1000 ‘Silver Metallic’ is set to drop on April 24 for $150 via New Balance’s channels.
