The Mom Shoe is Here: Nike and John Elliott Bring You the M2K Tekno 'Phantom'
We’ve seen plenty of over past year, but and designer aren’t forgetting the moms. The new Nike M2K Tekno takes the revitalised silhouette and tailors it for the ladies seeking that normcore steez.
First seen at John Elliott’s Fall/Winter 2018 show during New York Fashion Week, the M2K Tekno is typified by its hybrid Monarch-style midsole and upper, while the outsole stays true to its muse.
The ‘Phantom’ colourway features a sail upper and midsole with multiple overlaid leather panels and Swooshes on the upper. The pop of colour comes from the heel, where bright orange plastic detailing completes the aesthetic. Large orange Swooshes line the insoles, while a black and grey outsole keeps things deliciously daggy.
