UPDATE: Originally scheduled to land on November 27, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro 'Bruce Lee' has been pushed forward to November 24.
An indelible icon from prolific sneaker catalogue, the Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ originally landed back in 2010.
Taking cues from two classic Bruce Lee films, the black and yellow composition pays reference to the legendary jumpsuit worn in Game of Death, while the red scratch marks lionise the final fight scene in Enter the Dragon.
Laced by Kobe Bryant and his Lakers teammates during their historic 2010 championship run, the Kobe 5 is built with Flywire uppers, snake-like overlays along the silhouette’s throat, and plastic heel counters.
The Nike Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ is set to release on November 27. The retail price will be $180.
