Currently scheduled for release next year, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro ‘Grinch’ was laced by Kobe Bryant on Christmas Day 10 years ago (the Los Angeles Lakers playing host to LeBron James and the Miami Heat) Taking aesthetic cues from Dr. Seuss’ perennial Christmas trouble-maker, the Kobe 6 ‘Grinch’ simultaneously pays homage to one of the most venomous snakes in East Africa: the green mamba.
Still generating eye-watering prices online, the Nike Kobe 6 ‘Grinch’ is perpetually terrorising the resale market a decade after its original release.
And it looks like we’ve now got a retro on the way in 2021. Composed in a ‘Green Apple’, ‘Volt’, ‘Crimson’, and black colour combo, the performance-retro stays true to the original with ominous beady eyes on the Swoosh and scaly green skin on the uppers.
Look for the Nike Kobe 6 Protro ‘Grinch’ to slither into stores in 2021.
