The Jumpman Nails Down an Air Jordan 1 with StudsRelease: TBC
Back in early August, we reported on a curious Air Jordan 1 leak that put studs into the legendary baller, and now we have official pics of the design to confirm the release. The Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort SE ‘Sisterhood’ dresses in a neat colour combo of black, white and ‘Hyper Royal’, before copping a whole bunch of special embellishments.
The studs are peppered across the upper of this women’s drop, found on both the lateral and medial sides, pressed through the leather panels and shining bright when hit by certain angles of light. Meanwhile, the side Swooshes seem to have missed the leather memo, instead appearing in a clean white mesh to make it look like the original insignia has been ripped off the shoe.
Other interesting touches include the exposed foam around the top of the tongue and ankle collar, a style seem on a number of other retro silhouettes from Nike in recent times. Those same tongues brandish a special circular Nike logo, while a silver Jumpman hangtag dangles from the laces for one extra shiny flex.
The emergence of official pics generally points to one thing: an imminent release. So, keep your eyes on Nike and the usual Swoosh stockists because these are likely to drop very soon.
