The J.Crew x New Balance 992 Pays Homage to NYC

J.Crew continue to link-up with New Balance for some solid sneaker heat in 2021, the swanky American menswear chain recently exhuming the niche Made in USA NB1400 and remixing the NB2002R.

First collaborating back in 2010, J.Crew are now expanding their New Balance catalogue with a fresh NB992 paying homage to their roots in the Big Apple.

Manufactured in classic mesh underlays and suede overlays, the colourway pays homage to the state’s flag and aesthetic palette of iconic areas like Central Park. The blue, grey and brown hues will be familiar to any proud New Yorker, the speckled laces again referencing New York state’s flag.

The New Balance 992 has of course been doing much of NB’s heavy lifting in 2021, Todd Snyder, Paperboy and YCMC all riding the rollicking 992 bandwagon.

Look for the J.Crew New Balance 992 to land on October 8. The retail price is locked at $175.
