The ‘Happy Pineapple’ Hits Another Nike Air Force 1

The ‘Happy Pineapple’ keeps popping up on legendary Nike models, and is set to make himself at home on the Air Force 1 yet again. Only a couple of weeks ago we discovered images of an AF-1 with the smiling fruit, but this version turns the cork flavour down a little, instead opting for tonal canvas uppers, with the cork confined to the Swooshes, heel tabs, insoles, and outsoles.

Riding right up front on both tongues is the embroidered ‘Happy Pineapple’, the same dude that’s also been spotted on  Air Zoom Types, Air Max 90s, and Air Max 95s so far this year. Meanwhile, cork has also been a regular feature on Nike silhouettes in the first half of 2021, as the Beaverton brand continues its bold  ‘Move to Zero’ mission – a journey to zero carbon and zero waste. Part of that push has included a slew of cork-infused Air Max models, in addition to the recently unveiled  ‘Plant Cork Pack’.

Pairs of this latest ‘Happy Pineapple’ Air Force 1 are expected to land soon at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
