The Grinch x adidas Forums Have Arrived in Time for Christmas

Festive sneaker releases are often big hits with the community, but few references have seen the same success as The Grinch. With multiple sneaker brands having taken a punt at the theme over the years, Dr. Seuss’s character’s story has been told time and time again, so it makes sense for adidas release to include references to Cindy Lou Who and Max, too.

Though the Three Stripes only put out a Grinch-themed Forum last year, it’s fair to say this year's iteration is a little more wearable. The 2022 version came covered in shaggy green suede, but 2023 is keeping it more low-key with a leather build featuring green suede and red leather accents.

Sitting alongside the Grinch pair is a pink suede version based on Cindy Lou. Boasting red accents, the pair comes peppered with themed branding throughout, including character-themed lace charms and a graphic-printed sockliner. The same elements also feature on the Max-themed pair, which mixes tonal brown suedes with a festive red sole unit, made to mimic Max’s shaggy coat and collar.
