The Future Is Now with the Nike Adapt Auto Max

Nike’s Adapt tech has been stirring up excitement in the sneaker world, and we’ve already seen it grace models such as the Adapt BB, Adapt BB 2.0 and Adapt Huarache. Now Team Swoosh have decided to fuse their legendary Air unit with the self-lacing goodness of Adapt, creating the Adapt Auto Max.

Doused in grey and that iconic ‘Infrared’, this model mixes the old with the new. The innovative tech allows wearers to control the throat straps, fit and lights from their iPhone or Android device. And, just like your iPhone, this’ll need to be charged. So Nike have included a flat charging pad.

With a wild box, added accessories and, of course, the unique ability to control your shoes from your phone, these will be hard to pass up. At a price point of $400, the Nike Adapt Auto Max ‘Infrared’ will be arriving on Nike SNKRS Korea on May 8 and then hitting Stateside on May 20. Good Luck!
