The Carefree x Mizuno Sky Medal is a Low-Key Banger
London-based Carefree, run by Damion Malontie, has teamed up with for it's first footwear launch, working on the brands popular silhouette.
Carefree started life as a blog and think piece, but the move into quality product has quickly seen the brand gain status throughout London's streetwear scene, with each of its drops selling out. The brand has now moved into footwear, partnering with Japan's Mizuno to create a low-key, wearable runner that wouldn’t look out of place on shelves in a 90s sports shop.
The shoe comes dressed in a premium white Kangaroo leather. This is broken up by Jasper Green mesh panels and purple neoprene collar, while an eye-catching Iridescent Running Bird logo pays homage to the release. Extra details include Carefree branding embossed on the heel, and a custom tongue embroidery.
They Carefree x will launch at on July 25, followed by other select retailers at a later date.
